The dragonling huffs at Biffy and points at the door, which is not something Lyall was quite expecting; he blinks as Kitten quite perfectly mimics tea, and has to laugh at her insistent chirp.
"Tea's on?" he inquires, nodding, and ruffles a hand through his hair, recalling Biffy's mention of Daine. Oh, they must have been terribly rude. And --
"Thank you," he says with as dignified a nod as he can manage given the very strange and somewhat embarrassing circumstances. "We'll, ah. Be down presently." If he had spectacles at hand to polish, he would have, regardless of his need for them.
Once they're relatively alone again, he bends to nip at Biffy's shoulder where he's curled up. "Biffy," he says, gently but firmly nudging at his jaw. "There's tea."
