Magnus had never once encountered a dragonidae, which was the closest thing that his world had to a dragon. So, despite knowing Kit as a tiny little thing, he was bewildered by the sight of her so large and... well, just large.

"Right," he said again, then starting walking towards Daine and the dragon's head as if in a daze. "Okay, I think I can do that. I just need to be touching her."

Hopefully whatever Darrow magic was at work wouldn't interfere with his magic.
